Microchips are the best, most efficient way to have your pet safely return home.Although they do not have GPS tracking capability,these microchips can be extremely effective when a pet gets lost. When your pet is located, the first thing a shelter or veterinary hospital will do is checkfor a chip. With this chip’s information, we can find the owner quickly and without issue. Our Home Again microchips are able to be placed beneath the skin with a needle and syringe type applicator and are no larger than the size of a grain of rice. There is no need for anesthesia or surgery to install a microchip. We know that leaving a pet during vacation or familyemergency can be stressful,especially if your pet has specific medications togive or medical conditions thatneed monitored. In our Anna office, we offer boardingservices for trips bothexpected and not expected. We supply your pet with bclean kennels and bedding,high-quality gastrointestinal diets, bowls, and outdoor activity. If your pet is on medications or a special diet, our kennel technicians are trained to follow these directions as required by your pet. We offer toe nail trims and bathing services at additional cost prior to your pet’s departure. If your pet becomes ill while he or she is staying with us, our doctor’s are available to perform a wellness check and provide treatment as needed.
For the safety of your pet and the other pets that stay with us, we do require that your pet is current on all vaccinations as outlined in our wellness plans. All dogs must be current on their distemper, parvovirus, bordetella(Kennel Cough), and rabies vaccines while all cats must be current on feline distemper, feline

Tri-County Veterinary Service maintains a fully stocked veterinary pharmacy that allows our clients to leave at the end of each visit with all of their pet’s medications in hand. We also keep a large animal pharmacy in our Anna office that is ready for any farm needs that arise. Prescription refills can be called in at any time and filled the same day. We also carry a full line of prescription diets to meet all of your pet’s needs.
